Randy Moss Motorsports is a vision developed by New England Patriots All-Pro Wide Receiver Randy Moss.

Randy has always had an interest in the world of auto racing including the sponsorship of a local dirt track program in West Virginia. That interest has been strengthened by his recent involvement in the Urban Youth Racing School as an Ambassador for the program.

With Randy Moss Motorsports, the NFL star looks to develop a program that presents a great marketing platform for companies in the sport as well as presenting opportunities for people with diverse backgrounds to become involved in NASCAR.

David Dollar is a long standing owner in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series operating under the Morgan Dollar Motorsports banner. Dating back to 1998, David Dollar-led teams captured 13 victories in the series and finished second in the championship chase three years running. The Hennessey, Oklahoma native entered the 2008 season with his sights set on continuing his successful legacy.

Proving good things come to those who work hard, early in the 2008 season Dollar was presented with the opportunity to bring on Randy Moss as a 50% partner in his NASCAR operation. With the desire to grow his program and differentiate himself in the industry, he welcomed the opportunity to form the partnership with one of the NFL’s most prolific stars – combining the forces of two successful businessmen from humble beginnings of Rand, West Virginia (Moss) and Hennessey, Oklahoma (Dollar).

Thus, on July 3, 2008, Randy Moss and David Dollar announced their partnership with the newly named entity being known as Randy Moss Motorsports. The team fields the No. 81 Chevrolet Silverado in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series with their sights set on expanding to a multi-truck program starting in 2009.
